At Sun Sand Sky, we love a good day spa trip for that glowing, dewy skin look. But sometimes, you just don’t have the time or the resources to travel to a luxurious day spa.
That’s why we’d like to help you recreate that day spa experience in the comfort of your own home. With the right tools, and your favourite beauty brands, you can follow these 5 simple steps to recreate your luxury home spa experience.
1. Reset your environment - If the space is messy and cluttered, it will not be a soothing experience! First, reset your space. Clear away clutter. Use these Storage baskets. Light a candle and place onto our Candle Pillars, pop some green leaves in a Vase and add soothing music to create a calm space for your treatment.
2. Wash your cares away - Cleanse your face thoroughly before applying any treatment. Dab your favourite make up remover onto the Make up remover pad and wipe off all remains of make up. Now use the Facial brush to cleanse your face. You can apply a cleanser directly to your face and brush gently from your forehead to your décolletage. Wash off with water. Use another make up remover pad to apply a gentle toner.
3. Exfoliate. Exfoliate. Exfoliate. Using the dry Body brush on dry skin, brush your whole body in a gentle circular motion. This will assists in lymphatic drainage, helping to slew away dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
4. Mask it up - Don’t forget to treat your hair & scalp. Use a leave in hair mask (or just coconut oil) and wrap your hair with a Bath towel. Pop on your favourite face sheet mask, set the timer for 10-15mins. You can fit in a short meditation (or just catch up on sleep).
5. Moisturise - After your treatments, soak in a bath filled with epsom salts or luxuriate in a warm shower. Remember, water is healing. Now is the time to also add in a serum if you want. Then slather a rich moisturiser into your skin while your skin is slightly damp.
Your final step is to GLOW and ENJOY some time to yourself.
